My current theory on mitochondria:
There are two types of
mitochondria - the mutating and the stable, both inside the nucleus and
the outside in the cell. It's the balance between the two, and the kind
of mutation (health giving or decreasing) that determines aging and

Nosodes address Structure: nosodes like Psorinum kill
mitochondria (for scabies-causing mitochondria in this case). They are
selective though, killing 'bad' mito in the hope that they will come
back healthier, which is why you see the huge dip in the health of the
very sick, the ones with a great deal of defective mitochondria. If the
left-over mitochondria can't reproduce, or can't fast enough, or the
defect-causing mitochondria are too many, too deep and were all killed,
the animal dies from a general necrosis of tissue, like my Ancient.
Animal remedies are also destructive to Structure. Most of the
brilliant homeopathic animal remedies are poisons which kill
Elements provide Nutrients: elements (mineral
remedies) feed mitochondria. But where it can go wrong is when it feeds
the defective mitochondria more than the healthy. This is why there is a
danger to giving Calc carb for instance because it can increase the
calcium intake only to the detriment of the cell, calcification killing
the cell by hardening/aging it. (Perhaps balancing the calcs with the
mags and the phosphorus might help - but more on correct usage later).
Plant remedies modify Action: plant remedies appear to be the best of
all - because they address the action of the mitochondria and address
it, targetting the metabolic activity rather than the nutrients or the

Mitochondria are from the sea - they need sea elements. All Goullon's elements are sea remedies: Hepar (oyster shell), Spongia (sea sponge), the Chroms and Bichroms, Calc carb (sea shells?), the Kalis, the Nats, the Bromine and Iodine. Scrofula must be like scurvy in reverse.

Electro Homeopathy seems to be closest to the mitochondrial understanding of healing, lets look at Electro Homeopathy's electrals and categories again.
Red and Blue electrals go together - Red worked for a few days after New Moon for Ancient maybe because it is for energizing. I don't know when Blue works in the moon cycle.
Green and Yellow go together - of these, I know Green works best from LQ to NM because it addresses necrosis and cell death. (Yellow worked great for Ancient for a long period calming his nerves but I can't recall the moon phase - maybe it was before a storm??)
White is just for building up .... but building up mitochondria?? I'll have to check these after the New Moon when the body is back to building up.
Mitochondria the Categories of Electrohomeopathy:
Febrifugo - nerve related.
Linfatico - immunity related.
Venero - constitutional remedies to combat degeneration of mitochondria through disease, self-abuse and oxidative stress. So for the mutating mitochondria.
Vermifugo - improving elimination of toxins, waste through intestines. Worms might be just a part of the process if digestion is imperfect.
Canceroso - this is obviously for the mutating mitochondria, to control the changes and make them positive.
Scrofuloso or metabolic - works obviously during the New Moon to Full Moon phase reducing inflammations and scrofula. Controlling mutation of the mitochondria or reducing oxidative stress; perhaps reducing their number. But more likely, improving the condition of the healthy, stable mitochondria.
