Applying Logic to Knowledge

I wish I had a greater capacity for logical deduction and inference. It's only as I've gotten more into spiritual and energy medicine that I realise how important it is to be able to think clearly so as to advance knowledge. Unfortunately my ground of determined thinking is shaky and I don't draw the conclusions far enough.

The field is too vast and filled with contradictions and complexities to be woo-woo and silly in it. Without clarity and classification the infinity of detail just bogs you down, for example, in Homeopathy. Without system and method, you could just get vague to the point of pomposity advocating faith, like in Reiki.

Both would be useless to healing if one ends up spinning explanations and extrapolations which don't have a good grounding in the one capacity we humans universally possess - the capacity to reason.

I may have greater intention to heal, or may have more sensitive healing hands, but everyone gets reason. If Reiki is my reason for using particular homeopathic remedies, then I need reiki to work within a method or system. If homeopathy is my way to clear or raise the body's energy, then it should be classifiable and clear.

At the end of it all, I should be able to heal the sick. Without that end result, everything about me as healer, Reiki as method and Homeopathy as medicine are suspect.:)

Starting this

I'm going to clear up the blog where I've drawn a lot of conclusions, made assumptions and had ideas worth keeping in my daily healing efforts. I'm hoping to clean it up here, so that it's more useful to me and others.

Editing it there is almost upsetting since some of it covers failures that still have emotional content. And anyway, no one can be creative and critical at the same time.
